Review by hotel critic
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Bear Inn, and let me tell you, it was a delightful culinary experience. The cozy atmosphere of the pub-restaurant made me feel right at home, as I sipped on expertly crafted cask ales that paired beautifully with the menu. On our first night, I indulged in a roast turkey dinner while my dining partner opted for a burger. Both dishes were simple yet satisfying, showcasing the establishment's commitment to classic pub fare. The meal was complemented by fresh, flavorsome sides that made each bite a memorable one. Our breakfast was served by a lovely lady who made us feel like family. My granddaughter had her heart set on pancakes, and the staff went out of their way to ensure she enjoyed every morsel. The room was spacious and impeccably clean, featuring a bath-something of a rarity in many hotels. After a long day exploring Glastonbury, I appreciated having a fan to keep me comfortable. All in all, the Bear Inn is a picturesque location, and I can't help but think of it as the perfect backdrop for food enthusiasts like me. I'd love to return.
